November, 2024: Soares, along with graduate student Eric Pereira, attended the International Mechanical Engineering Congress & Exposition (IMECE) in Portland, OR, where Eric Pereira presented his research on physics-based machine learning for state-of-health (SOH) assessment in commercial lithium-ion batteries.
October, 2024: Soares attended and presented a work at the IEEE Conference on Electrical Insulation and Dielectric Phenomena in Auburn, AL. The undergraduate student Damilola Ogun is the first author of the presented work.
September, 2024: Soares delivered invited lecture at the Workshop on microgrids and energy battery storage at Universidade Autonoma de Occidente in Cali, Colombia.
