Patricia Isabel Castro Uribe recently graduated with a B.S. in Physics Engineering from the Autonomous University of Yucatan (UADY), Mexico, in June 2026. Her research interests include energy storage and energy conversion materials. She is currently conducting research at Wichita State University through the Delfin Research Program under the supervision of Dr. Davi Soares. She works on the development of supercapacitors as an alternative energy-storage technology. Her project explores carbon-based materials and organic electrolytes to reduce the use of critical materials, expand the operating voltage window, and improve energy-storage performance. She plans to pursue graduate studies and continue conducting research in sustainable energy technologies. Outside the lab, Patricia enjoys traveling, reading, and exploring new places.
